The Maharashtra State Board of Open School Education (MSOS) has administered the annual public examination for students pursuing the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) at government and private schools affiliated with the board. This examination takes place in February each year. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has scheduled the administration of the board examinations for 10th Class students from the second week of March through the fourth week of March of the current academic year.

The Board of Open School Education Maharashtra (MSOS) facilitates the download of SSC Hall tickets for 2025 . MSOS, also known as the Board of Open School Education Maharashtra, is responsible for the administration of secondary and higher secondary education. It was created in the year 2065 and is situated in Pune. The board was formed to administer and conduct examinations after Secondary Education (SSC) and Higher Secondary Education (HSC) in the state. The responsible entity is tasked with the establishment and execution of regulations and policies in alignment with the directives established by both state and central governing bodies.
The board has decided to enhance the evaluation system and its outcomes by establishing divisional offices. These offices, known as divisional boards, are in nine locations: Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan. The board administers examinations biannually, with around 17 lakh students appearing for the main SSC test and 14 lakh students for the main HSC examination. For the supplemental examination, it is anticipated that over 6 lakh students would participate in both the HSC and SSC examinations combined. There are approximately 21,000 secondary schools (SSC) and 7,000 higher secondary schools (HSC) in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MAH Board) has consistently and effectively conducted academic activities. Consequently, the board intends to release the Maharashtra State Open School Education Board (MSOS) SSC Hall tickets for the academic session of 2025 .
